A competitive congressional campaign in Virginia seeks a Finance Director to help execute the campaign’s finance plan through 2020. The Finance Director will work closely with the campaign manager and consultant team to manage and implement call time programs, low and high dollar events both in-district and statewide, digital fundraising, donor prospecting and research. Other core functions may include hiring and managing staff, volunteers, and interns as well as staffing the candidate at events.

This position is based in Northern Virginia.

Desired Skills:

· At least one cycle of campaign finance experience

· Experience building and managing finance plans and budgets

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & NGP

· Experience in aspects of campaign finance operations (call time, events, email, digital)

· Organized and creative with strong attention to detail and follow through

· Willing to work long hours, evenings, and weekends

· Travel as required for events

· Demonstrated ability to work well with others

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

· Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment

· Have a can-do attitude and a commitment to changing the Commonwealth

· Virginia ties and/or campaign experience a bonus

Salary commensurate with experience. Start Date: ASAP
