Field Organizers needed for Northern VA Democratic Primary Campaign (DC Metro area)

A top-tier Congressional race in Northern Virginia is seeking Field Organizers to join immediately, through the primary in June (and potentially beyond, depending on primary outcome). Organizers will be responsible for managing volunteers, overseeing canvassing and phone banking events. A successful candidate will have organizing experience, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN. Applicants must have access to a car, be willing to relocate to the Northern Virginia area, and have a laptop.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers

• Participate in daily call time and weekend events

• Staffing the candidate at events when required

• Plan, organize, and execute volunteer events including meet & greets, signature collection, phone banking, and canvassing

• Enter data and perform quality control

• Achieve all weekly goals

Requirements

• Access to a car and laptop

• Willing to relocate to Northern Virginia

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Able to work long, irregular hours (including evenings and weekends)

• Leadership skills to manage and inspire volunteers
