Overview

The Nevada State Democratic Party is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Director, based in

Las Vegas, who will manage all internal campaign support requests, purchasing assets and

provisioning equipment to all staff and field organizing offices.


Tasks and Responsibilities

• Respond to support requests and ensure timely resolution

• Create accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process

• Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records

• Place and track asset orders

• Create training how-to guides and staff documentation

• Deploying VoIP solutions in our field organizing offices

• Ensuring reliable internet connectivity around the state

 
Required Skills & Background

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Experience troubleshooting Windows 7 & 8, Mac OS X, and Google Apps

• Ability to provision accounts in Active Directory and Google Apps

• Experience with Mac and PC hardware, printers and mobile devices (iOS and Android)

• Experience with imaging platforms

• Ability to provide support remotely

• Experience setting up wireless routers and switches

• Knowledge of VoIP solutions
