Full Job Description
Canvassers will work door to door to engage voters in support of our candidate. Ideal candidates will be highly organized and accountable self-starters who thrive on person-to-person contact and bring a sense of humor and fun to their work. A flexible schedule is required, including evenings and weekends. This is a short-term position that will last through the end of February.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the public (door to door) in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to deliver campaign message and collect survey answers from voters.
- Meet daily goals.
- Fill out daily reports
- Ability to travel between sites.
Qualifications
- Physical ability to walk or stand long periods of times.
- Ability to work within in a team and independently.
- Prior canvassing or customer service experience, ideally 1+ years
- Experience working with diverse teams
- Passion for electing community leaders to local elected office
- Spanish fluency is a big plus
