Hiring Canvassers for GOTV Efforts - New York City

NorthShore Strategies, a Consulting Firm based in New York City is seeking field staff for our GOTV (Get Out the Vote) efforts on competitive campaigns in New York City. Qualified candidates will work independently and with team leaders to knock on doors to contact voters in Queens County or New York County. Shifts are from 3:30pm-8:30pm Monday to Friday and 10:30am-3:30pm and 4:00pm-9:00pm on weekends. All data collected in the field will be recorded electronically and checked for quality and accuracy daily. Any falsifying of data will be grounds for immediate termination.

Requirements

• The ability to comprehend messaging and articulate issues related to the campaign.
• The ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Regular communication and submission of daily reports.
• Adherence to schedule and punctuality.
• The ability to communicate electronically with team leaders at all times in the field.
• The ability to use electronic devices to record data collected.

Compensation is $11/hour plus driving reimbursement. Candidates able to drive their own vehicles will be given preference.
