Position Summary
The Director serves on the Leadership Development and Design (LDD) team and works to design and deliver high-impact programs to advance our members’ skills and knowledge of public leadership, including politics, policy, advocacy and organizing. The Director is responsible for overseeing a set of programs to inspire, develop and increase the number of LEE members successfully pursuing and serving in public leadership roles with a particular emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion. The Director will lead program design and expansion efforts, program evaluation, outreach and recruitment, selection, and tracking of members. They will also design, oversee and evaluate new programming for members. They must consistently design and provide high-quality leadership development programs that are challenging, relevant, and tailored to our members, as well as ensure we can successfully track, measure and understand the impact of our leadership development programs on our members.
The Director ensures that all LEE members participating in our leadership development programs are supported, inspired, and empowered to seek and pursue leadership opportunities at all levels that will help to achieve educational equity and excellence for all children. This position reports to the Senior Director of Diversity and Equity Leadership Development.
