Mark Wolfe is running for Delegate in Virginia’s 50th district. Mark has spent the last 11 years on the city council and has a proven track record of success. We need your help because this seat has the potential of turning red if Mark is not elected. Mark has helped to build the Democratic Party in this city and has worked very hard to get other democrats elected. We have a chance to send someone to Richmond who has a proven track record on the city council and will work hard for every person in the district.
About the position
The Mark Wolfe for Delegate campaign is seeking highly motivated, creative, and organized interns for the 2019 democratic primary election. Interns will get to see first hand what goes into creating a successful grassroots campaign and gain the skills needed to start a career in politics.
Primary Responsibilities
· Canvassing specific areas of the district
· Making phone calls to perspective voters
· Volunteer recruitment
· Staffing events as needed
· Assisting staff members when needed
Required Skills and Experience
· Strong verbal skills
· Good work ethic
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong time management skills
· A willingness to help elect democrats
· Interest in campaigns/politics
· Past experience in politics is a plus but not required
· Must be able to work difficult hours (schedules may be flexible)
Location: Manassas, VA
Time: 20 hr minimum (can be flexible)
Interns will be on until June 11th (the primary) but may be extended if we win.
