A Montgomery County political campaign is seeking politically concerned and hardworking individuals to join our team in support of a Democratic State Delegate candidate. At our agile grassroots campaign, field staff will be expected to contribute to all aspects of campaign work. This is a great opportunity for individuals with political interests to gain leadership experience and to see first hand all the moving pieces associated with campaign work.


To succeed in this position, you will have to think on your feet and be comfortable with drastically different work from day to day. Below is a summary of likely duties.


Voter Outreach

  • Phone bank—calling voters to win support

  • Canvassing/Block-walking—knocking doors within our targeted community

  • Uploading all voter data to VAN system

  • Managing Volunteers

  • Preparing training materials for volunteers

  • Training volunteers on how to interact with citizens during phone and canvass events

  • Helping to recruit volunteers

This position will start ASAP and will run through the June 26th, 2018 Democratic Primary. Reliable transportation and drivers license required. We offer a competitive salary based on experience.
