DCCC-targeted Red to Blue NJ Congressional seeks Canvass Director to start immediately

A nationally-targeted, New Jersey congressional campaign, rated among the twenty most competitive House races in the country, is seeking a full-time Canvass Director to execute an aggressive paid canvassing program.  They will be responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the program, and report to the Field Director.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Recruiting, training and managing a paid canvass team to fulfill the needs of the campaign as laid out in the field plan.

·  Ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly contact and recruitment goals are met and exceeded.

·  Ensuring data integrity, and program accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Experience with political organizing or paid canvassing preferred.

·  Proficiency with VAN preferred.

·  Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment.

·  Must have reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

·  Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.
