West Pennsylvania Progressive Congressional Campaign Seeks Finance Director for 2020 Primary Challenge

We are a competitive primary campaign working to elect a strong progressive candidate against a long-term incumbent. We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as our full-time Finance Director. The Finance Director will work closely with the candidate in all matters of fundraising, including broadening the donor network, establishing key relationships, and crafting a strategic finance plan. We are a people-fueled campaign and will be rejecting corporate PAC donations and focusing on generating personal contributions, so strong interpersonal skills and a focus on personal fundraising is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
·        Develop and maintain a strategic finance plan, including creating and meeting fundraising goals and deadlines
·        Manage call time, fundraising events, and fundraising communications
·        Ensure adherence and compliance with finance laws and regulatory requirements, including drafting regulatory reports
·        Develop and maintain relationships with donor networks and host committees
·        Oversee and manage finance staff, interns, volunteers, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
·        1+ cycles as senior campaign finance staff or similar experience
·        Proficiency in NGP, ActBlue, Google productivity suite, etc.
·        Fundraising experience and/or strong networks in urban areas
·        Flexibility and drive to work evenings and weekends is a must
·        Dedication to diversity and inclusiveness and a passion for progressive ideas
