John Kane, Democrat for State Senate, seeks Field Organizers for Pennsylvania’s 9th Senate District. John is fighting for a better Pennsylvania and will focus on protecting Pennsylvania’s environment, making healthcare affordable, investing in education, and protecting women’s right to choose in the state legislature. John is a member of Plumbers Local 690, committed to strong unions and progressive change.
Field Organizers will be responsible for:
· Implementing the field program in their assigned turf
· Recruiting, training, managing and retaining volunteers
· Identifying and empowering volunteer leaders
· Building and managing a team of interns
· Meeting daily, weekly and monthly voter contact and volunteer recruitment goals
· Building, maintaining, and supporting relationships with local leaders and community organizations, as well as county and municipal party officials
· Maintaining and ensuring data integrity
· Representing and reflecting the John Kane campaign in a positive light
Candidates need not have prior experience, but competitive candidates will be expected to have high levels energy, creativity, and commitment to electing Democratic candidates and progressive principles. Access to a vehicle, laptop and cell phone are required.
