Job Title: Social Media Associate

Status: Full-time Exempt

Reports to: Social Media Manager/Director

About: Need to Impeach is a national progressive movement dedicated to removing Donald Trump from power, fighting the Alt-Right agenda, holding the Establishment accountable and developing a progressive voice and policy framework that help American families, not just corporations and the wealthy.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate innovative ideas with a particular focus on expanding NTI’s presence and audience participation across all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Schedule posts throughout the day, live tweeting, and monitor breaking news and coordinate a rapid response on social media
• Create and help create shareable GIFS, videos, and graphics for social media
• Process social media requests and adapt rapid-fire communication tactics for organization’s social media channels
• Engage with supporters of SM, including answering questions, driving comments, and guiding discussions
