Position Summary:

The DCCC is seeking Get-Out-The-Vote Directors for competitive Congressional races for the 2016 cycle to engage the local electorate through GOTV efforts. GOTV Directors will work closely with, and report to Field Directors and engage in Get-Out-The-Vote efforts by coordinating and managing logistics, tools, and resources. GOTV Directors will be responsible for implementing and executing the Get-Out-The –Vote plans for the district. They will also be responsible for creating, maintaining and tracking accurate GOTV reports.The DCCC is accepting resumes from candidates for these state party positions, which it will then forward to the state parties who are hiring for the position.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·        At least two cycles of field experience, with one cycle managing staff
·        Implement and execute the district GOTV plan
·        Oversee the process for securing GOTV staging locations
·        Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines
·        Coordinate GOTV logistics, tools and resources
·        Manage GOTV reporting structure
·        Conduct training for staff and volunteers on GTOV program and best practices
·        Willingness to work a flexible schedule
·        Proficiency with VAN, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
·        Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
·        Experience with voter protection is a plus
·        Proficiency with VAN, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
·        Other duties as needed
