Red Horse Strategies, a progressive New York City-based political consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate. We are staffing up ahead of our busy 2017 and 2018 election cycles.  We are seeking a strong leader who can provide support to our clients, excel when given autonomy over a project, work well under tight deadlines and who has experience building and motivating teams. 

Skills and Experience:

• Three years political experience with at least two in electoral campaigns
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Excellent ability to problem solve
  
• Ability to build strong relationships among a diverse group of people
  
• Computer proficiency, including word, excel and VAN
  
• Ability to travel as needed
  
• Valid drivers license preferred
  
• Knowledge of New York/Northeast politics a plus
  
• Must be able to work campaign hours, nights and weekends
  
• Ability to execute independent, quality work under tight deadlines
  
• Strong project-management and time-management skills
