Competitive Dallas Area Congressional Campaign Seeks Field Organizer

A competitive Red-to-Blue Texas Congressional campaign that recently made it to a primary runoff is seeking Field Organizers. This district was won by Hillary Clinton in 2016, and it will be a top targeted race in 2018. The primary runoff is at the end of May. The candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage in robust volunteer recruitment and ensure that recruitment goals are met or exceeded

• Ensure successful training and management of all volunteers

• Maintain accurate data and update our campaign database

• Provide the Field Director with daily quantitative and qualitative reports.

• Meet or exceed personal voter contact goals in pursuit of larger programmatic objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 cycles of experience as a field organizer or fellow

• A proven track record of consistently meeting established deadlines

• Uses time effectively while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• The ability to be an excellent team player and collaborator

• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to jump in without hesitation to any task - big or small

• An ongoing interest in continued learning and adaptation based on best practices

• Access to a laptop and vehicle

• Votebuilder (VAN) experience is prefered, but not required.

Salary is $3000/month. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking to work on a high-profile campaign in 2018 and/or recent college graduates who want to gain valuable campaign experience.
