Graphic Design Internship - Democratic Attorneys General Association

The Democratic Attorneys General Association provides political and policy support to Democratic State Attorneys General in their mission to protect citizens, promote progress and support civil rights. DAGA is currently seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our team!

Work on a wide range of creative projects in this exciting, fast-paced environment. Receive hands-on professional experience and mentorship while enhancing your design portfolio! As an integral part of DAGA's messaging team, you will design signage, layouts used for policy conferences, invitations, print/Web ads, and more.  

Juggle several projects simultaneously and learn how to build production schedules and meet deadlines 

Prepare work for prepress, review proofs, and communicate with printers

Requirements

Talented graphic design students with an interest in progressive politics preferred

Strong technical skills in Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) on Mac platform

Flash and HTML skills a plus

Strong proofreading skills

Familiarity with the elements of design (shape, form, space, color, texture, etc.)

Must be detail-oriented 

Positive, teachable attitude  

Strong verbal and written communications skills  

Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines  

Willingness to learn  

Curious, creative nature
