Chicago: Fundraiser

The Illinois Senate Democrats’ political finance team works to raise money for the Senate President’s campaign committee, his leadership funds, members of the caucus, and recruited candidates. The Finance Coordinator will report directly to the Finance Director and provide fundraising support for each of these entities. These responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

• Planning and executing fundraising events

• List preparation for call time and mailings

• Managing call time and executing the necessary follow up

• Database management for the leadership funds and individual senators and candidates

• Filing and compliance for the leadership funds and individual senators and candidates

• Expanding the donor universe through donor research and cultivation

• Managing donor relationships and distributing thank you notes in a timely manner

Basic NGP skills required.

1-2 cycles of campaign finance experience preferred.

Position is based in Chicago, but does require travel.
