HIRING IMMEDIATELY: Paid Canvassers $12 per hour for State Assembly campaign
Responsibilities will include:
BrownMiller Group is hiring Paid Canvassers for a canvass project through September 2016.
BrownMiller Group is a direct contact firm whose goal is to win campaigns by engaging people
in politics and empowering them with the tools they need to change their community one person
at a time.

• Canvassers will collect petitions and talk with community members, articulating a
• message and collecting data.
• Canvassers must be able to articulate the message/issue and successfully engage in a
• dialogue about this issue. Canvassers will capture data using a combination of paper and
• electronic systems.
• Canvassers will work approximately 5 hour shifts and earn $12 per hour. Shifts takes

place in the afternoon/evening and on weekends.
Qualities and Abilities Required:

• Canvassers must have excellent communication skills
• Canvassers must be skilled at engaging community members in conversation
• Canvassers must work well in a team and be flexible and adaptive to changing conditions
• Canvassers must be able to operate data collection systems
• Canvassers must be a registered New York Democrat
• Russian speakers preferred
