NYC FIELD DIRECTOR

We are a NYC Congressional race in a hotly contested district that is looking for a Field Director to start immediately. Our candidate is a staunch champion of women's and progressive issues. The FD will build grassroots base of support and execute an aggressive field plan to win this hotly contested race. Responsibilities include building up a volunteer base, targeting voters, helping to organize house parties, execute an aggressive voter contact program through phone banking and street canvassing, accompanying the candidate to events,and generating new volunteer leads. Great opportunity to work with strong team. Must be in or willing to relocate to New York City and start immediately.

SKILLS NEEDED:

- 2-3 years previous campaign, union, grassroots or community organizing

- working knowledge of NGP/VAN

- digital organizing skills a plus
