We are hiring motivated Field Organizers to conduct voter outreach as a part of our fellowship program in the Los Angeles special election.

Part time and full time positions available. This is a great opportunity for student's and recent graduates to get involved with local politics and will provide them with a deep understanding of campaigning.

Ideal Candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented and responsible self-starters who have proven ability conducting voter contact and interest in electoral organizing

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Canvassing door to door  

• Meeting voter contact and persuasion goals

• Conducting volunteer recruitment

• Supporting messaging and communications efforts

• Attending community events  

Required Skills:

• Experience conducting successful voter contact [canvassing or phonebanking]

• A valid driver’s license required and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Great organizational and communication skills with a strong commitment to follow up

• Ability to execute strategic goals and work effectively with team members

          Position is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Compensation is based hourly and highly effective organizers will be considered for promotion post Primary
