FINANCE DIRECTOR
A Democratic campaign in Missouri Congressional District-04 is seeking a senior level Finance Director. This is a full time, temporary position through the November 2020 election. The campaign’s Finance Director will work closely with the Democratic nominee, Campaign Manager, fundraising consultants, and other core members of the campaign team to achieve high level fundraising goals in this historic election cycle. Firm commitment through November. Starts ASAP.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with team to develop campaign budget
- Manage and execute finance plan
- Coordinate Principal's call time schedule and staffing of call time with Finance Consultant
- Work closely with campaign fundraising consultant to develop donor research strategy in preparation for call time
- Develop new and creative ways to raise money online, working with digital consultants to develop fundraising opportunities through virtual events and email solicitation program
- Manage pledge follow up and correspondence
- Work with compliance consultant to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of campaign’s fundraising reports
Qualifications include:
- 3-5 cycles of campaign finance experience; three cycles minimum
- Previous Congressional campaign experience highly preferred
- Must be detail oriented, and have excellent time management skills
- Experience planning and managing events
- Strong written and communication skills a must
- Proficiency with NGP, Van, ActBlue
- Flexibility to work long hours including weekends and holidays is required
