Position: Field Organizer

Compensation: $3500 - $4000. Based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to implement the Campaign Field Plan
Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders and volunteers
Foster and develop neighborhood teams in assigned geographical regions
Empower volunteers to develop into leadership roles within the program

Conduct outreach to community groups to increase size and scope of program

Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to meet tight and competing deadlines, and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously
Working knowledge of political campaign structure and familiarity with campaign technology
Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends
Good sense of humor and ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment
Previous campaign experience is preferred, but not required
