Overview

Joana Garica, the Democratic Nominee for VA-42, is looking for a motivated and energetic campaign manager.

Responsibilities

The Campaign Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the campaign including but not limited to:

• Overseeing campaign operations.

• Building and maintaining relationships with local elected officials, county parties, democratic candidates and constituent communities.

• Managing outreach to the press to expand earned media.

• Completing call time with the candidate, coordinating fundraisers and managing the NGP database.

• Recruiting volunteers, cutting turf and leading canvases and phone banks.

• Scheduling candidate’s time and keeping candidate on-track as it pertains to the campaign’s fundraising and field goals.

• Managing the campaign’s volunteers.

• A Campaign Manager should expect a demanding work schedule and be available long hours.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must be highly organized, highly motivated and capable of working through a demanding work environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• The ability to build and motivate a team.

• Commitment to details, results meeting goals, and using data to inform decisions in the field.

• Previous campaign experience, particularly campaign fundraising experience.

• Experience writing and implementing Campaign, Finance and Communication plans.

• A vehicle is required.
