Who we are
The Priorities USA Training and Fellowships team is responsible for growing digital advertising expertise in the progressive space. Our signature training program travels to dozens of states and takes organizations and individuals from fundamentals to real ad launches on Facebook and Google all within 4 days.
Summary
As Priorities USA gears up for our 2020 training and fellowship programs, the Training and Fellowships Coordinator will be responsible for trainee support and the logistics of our live training series across the country (80%).They will also be responsible for training participants on some parts of the training series’ curriculum, alongside the rest of the training team (20%).
The ideal candidate has a deep interest in digital communications and some practical experience with digital advertising on self-serve platforms (specifically Facebook, YouTube, and Google), but that isn't required. They are interested in training and teaching others the invaluable skill of digital advertising for the purpose of advocacy and political transformation. Of course, they should have a passion for progressive politics too! This position will be reporting to the Manager of Training and Fellowships.
Primary Responsibilities
Travel 1-2 times a month with the Training Team to support our signature 4-day practitioner digital ads training on foundational skills for partner organizations around the country
Support the Training and Fellowships Manager in the application evaluation and participant coordination process before, during, and after each training
Manage training operations (food, space, and participant needs) in coordination with state-based partners
Act as the primary contact between the training team and training applicants
Seek new training opportunities with local, state, and national level organizations in partnership with Priorities political team
Qualifications
Have six months of experience planning, buying, and reporting on digital media, specifically working in-platform on Google AdWords or Facebook Business Manager
Identify as ‘tech savvy’ - you have tons of experience using Google, Facebook, and Youtube. If you’re the family IT consultant, this job might be for you!
Experience with operations and logistical coordination
Knowledge of diverse groups and organizations, sensitivity to and appreciation of cultural differences
The ability to travel for 5-10 days every month
Preferred QualificationsSome experience with training others on both Google and Facebook ad platforms
Eagerness to contribute to the Training Team's Spotify playlist
Compensation
This position is preferably based in Washington, D.C., but New York and remote are possible for the right candidate. We project the salary range to be $50,000-$60,000, but will be tailored to experience. Priorities USA’s competitive benefits package includes full-coverage health care, paid holidays and vacation.
