NY Congressional campaign is now
accepting resumes for a Finance Director.
The Finance Director is
responsible for working with the current Fundraising Consultants to execute the finance plan, managing candidate call time, donor prospecting and
research, and conducting pledge follow-up. The ideal candidate will have a
minimum of one cycle fundraising experience, is diligent, hardworking, and very
well organized. This person must be able to work full-time and relocate.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Communicate and work with Fundraising Consultants to execute the Finance Plan
on a daily and weekly basis.
• Manage candidate call time & other daily activities to hit finance targets &
deadlines.
• Manage follow up on call-time pledges.
• Make fundraising calls to donors during candidate call time, including double
and triple dialing.
• Supervise staff, interns & volunteers to assist with data entry and other
tasks and work with compliance consultant.
•Execute donor research and manage prospect donor lists.
• Assist Consultants with direct mail and online fundraising.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous congressional campaign finance
director or equivalent.
• Must have strong written and
verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Upstate & Western, NY politics is preferred but not
necessary.
• Creativity, initiative, and able to function as part of a team.
• Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue and
Excel.
Salary based on experience.
