One of the most competitive and dynamic Congressionals in New York state is seeking a Field Director (and other senior field staff) to execute a large voter contact program in a swing district.

Responsibilities for Field Director: 

• Hiring, training and managing a large team of Field Organizers and Paid Canvass program
• Assigning goals to and tracking progress of staff
• Creating and maintaining political relationships with key community and labor groups

Qualifications: 

• At least 2 cycles of previous field experience on political campsigns
• Highly competent in the use of VAN and other common voter contact tools
• Ability to oversee and manage multiple staff
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently for long, extended hours 
• Functioning vehicle and valid drivers license
• Must own lap top
