Rising Tide Interactive is a full-service digital marketing firm based in Washington, D.C. We’ve helped elect Democrats up and down the ticket, worked with some of the nation’s most prominent labor unions and advocacy groups, and raised millions online for our clients.
ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIP
We’re looking for self-motivated college students or recent graduates to participate in our part-time, paid fall internship program. You won’t spend your time getting coffee or making copies — you’ll be a crucial part of our team in this hands-on position, with responsibilities like:
- Drafting and editing outbound email and ad copy
- Building, sending, and monitoring blast emails
- Creating and updating email and ad reports
- Helping with the development of ad creative
- Performing background research
- Assisting with client services

If you’re eager to learn, enjoy coming up with creative solutions to challenges, and are more excited by politics than policy, you may be the right candidate!
This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate with a focus in politics, government, marketing, advertising, or communications to learn marketable skills in digital politics.
All candidates should have experience writing compelling copy, a keen eye for proofreading, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
THE NITTY-GRITTY
Interns should be available for a minimum of 20 hours a week starting in early September and will be offered a monthly stipend as compensation.
