Top tier Red to Blue Congressional Campaign seeking Deputy Field Director in Southern California with a start date of early March. The ideal candidate for this position is a self starter with at least some previous campaign experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the Paid Canvass program.
- Motivating and holding staff accountable for goals and metrics.
- Recruit, hire, train and terminate staff. Perform other HR duties as needed.
- Plan and conduct high quality trainings daily addressing all aspect of voter registration.
- Conduct rigorous quality control measures and ensure absolute data integrity
- Institute and enforce strict record keeping and filing practices.
- Ensure all required reporting is accurate and timely.
Qualifications:
- Some previous campaign experience.
- Experience hiring and managing employees preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- The ability to meet tight and competing deadlines and to manage many tasks simultaneously
- Superb attention to detail and diligence.
- Knowledge of Voter file software such as VAN or PDI.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
- A car, a driver's license, a laptop, and cell phone are required for this position.
- Good sense of humor and ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment.
