Hiring for Finance Director, PA State House Campaign (Bucks County)

Role: Finance Director for Democratic campaign for Pennsylvania State House District 143

Description: seeking a Finance Director for a competitive Pennsylvania State House campaign who will work closely with the candidate and campaign manager to meet the financial goals of the campaign. District is currently held by a Republican who is not running for re-election. Candidate won her primary and has lined up critical endorsements.

Duties:

• Craft and execute strategic finance plan which includes events, principal call time, grassroots/small donor fundraising, online solicitations and weekly, monthly and quarterly goals
• Identify and research new donor prospects and opportunities
• Manage principal call time and other activities to hit fundraising targets and deadlines
• Execute and manage donor research and expand new donor networks
• Assist in writing fundraising emails, mailers, and handouts
• Manage, hire and train staff, interns, and volunteers
•  Ensure there is follow up on all correspondence and pledges

Qualifications:

• 1+ cycles of campaign finance experience
• Proven commitment to elect Democrats or experience working on progressive issues
• Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue and Excel
• Must have strong written and communication skills
• Working knowledge of campaign and ethics finance law
• Experience with donor research and prospecting
• Experience with targeting contributors and follow up management
• Experience managing events preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
• Willingness to take on other duties as part of a small team, including flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Available full-time from late July through Election Day (November 6, 2018); ties to PA a plus
