JOB: Field Director for Statewide Candidate in the Northeast

 Field Director on Northeast Statewide Campaign

 

A progressive candidate running for statewide office in the Northeast is looking for qualified applicants to quickly build and manage a statewide field program for a highly contested primary campaign later this year.

 

Responsibilities:

• Work with campaign team to build efficient, goal-oriented field program
• Create positive environment for organizers/interns and use goals to keep them on track.
• Recruit and manage volunteers.
• Set, meet, and exceed metric-driven benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and GOTV.
• Help plan and execute house parties, GOTV rallies, and represent the campaign at events.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 cycles of experience in field.
• Experience managing volunteers and navigating political relationships.
• Highly organized and scrappy – can manage themselves and others.
• Strong communications and organizational skills, ability to work independently, multi-task, and work long and irregular hours.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Experience with an early vote program is a plus.
