Campaign Finance Director NY - Hiring Immediately

Member of New York State Assembly on Long Island is seeking a campaign finance director for the 2018 election cycle.

Candidates for the position should have a minimum of two cycles of experience working in campaign finance positions. Ideal candidates are familiar with the NGP VAN campaign finance platform and are experienced in the areas of fundraising, donor research, call-time preparation and management.

The Finance Director will be responsible for prospecting potential donors, preparing and staffing call time with the candidate, organizing fundraising events, maintaining the fundraising database, building relationships with donors and attending fundraising and networking events. The Finance Director will supervise a finance assistant and several finance interns.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate mastery of excel and have access to a computer or laptop with the appropriate programs to complete daily tasks (Microsoft Office or compatible programs).

The Campaign Finance Director will be comfortable working independently in a results-driven position, demonstrate creativity in their approach to fundraising, and handle themselves professionally at all times in interactions with the campaign and community members.
