JOB DESCRIPTION

A national trade association serving a niche segment of the consumer lending market is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its team for the next six months. The Project Coordinator will track a variety of projects and manage a wide range of written deliverables for the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer. The Project Coordinator plays an important role in helping the trade association effectively meet member demands and manage day-to-day association-wide initiatives. In this fast-paced environment, you must be a flexible, hardworking, self-starter with a proven ability to work well with others at various levels within the trade association while handling multiple, competing priorities in an effective and efficient manner.

 

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong structural and organizational writing skills and a thorough knowledge of written English, grammar, spelling, vocabulary and punctuation

  • An understanding of state and federal government processes and functions

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally with members, vendors and associates on the phone and in person

  • Professional demeanor and appearance

  • Ability to adapt to different people, situations and changing priorities with grace and flexibility, as well as demonstrating an appropriate sense of urgency

  • Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

  • A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work

  • Strong time management skills

  • Ability to communicate openly and effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Outlook

  • Ability to travel out of state for meetings a plus

 

Necessary Background

  • A four-year degree
  • 1-3 years related work experience (may include internships)
