Happy Thursday!

It's the award event of the season and you won't want to miss it! Tickets are open for the 23rd Annual Young Women of Achievement (YWA) Awards! It's a great opportunity to network with people across all different fields in DC!

What is YWA?

YWA is WIN's annual celebration of highly talented up-and-coming young women leaders who are making a difference in the community. YWA acknowledges young, pro-choice, Democratic women of excellence who have made strides in their field and a real difference in the world. YWA is an opportunity to celebrate and network with WIN’s leaders and the rising stars of our progressive movement. Laila Mohib, Director of Women’s Engagement and the Democratic Women’s Alliance at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will keynote the event.

YWA nominees are young, pro-choice, Democratic women who live in the DC metropolitan area. Out of the pool of nominations, members of the WIN Executive Committee and the WIN Advisory Council will select one awardee for each of the six categories: Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Community Organizing/Labor Work, Political/Campaign Work, Service/Nonprofit Advocacy, and Women in the Choice Movement.
