Organizer for Northern VA House Delegate Race

We are seeking a passionate, experienced organizer for a Progressive Virginia House of Delegates campaign for the 29th District which includes Winchester City, most of Frederick County, and several Warren Co. precincts (about 1.5 hours from Washington, DC).

The candidate, Irina Khanin, is an immigrant and a child advocacy attorney with an extensive network of volunteers and supporters in the district.

We need a knowledgeable and experienced Organizer who both has a passion for the cause of turning the district and Virginia Blue and can exercise sound judgment and wear multiple hats.

Responsibilities:

Manage interns, and volunteers

Implement a field plan

Implement a comprehensive traditional and social media strategy

Direct voter contact

Meet daily and weekly goals

Manage a large volunteer base

Job Requirements

1-2 cycles campaign experience

Must have the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet goals and deadlines in a team setting

High attention to detail and strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

Experience with campaign technology tools, including NGP VAN or equivalent

Computer proficiency necessary to update and maintain databases of activists, committees and volunteers

Experience working with multiple stakeholders
