Finance Director for Congressional Race - NYC

Position: New York City congressional race seeks a Finance Director. Applicant must be located in or willing to relocate to New York City to work on this historic race. Finance Director will plan, manage and direct the entire finance infrastructure of the campaign, from large events to living room fundraisers, from call time to major donor cultivation, as well as managing staff and supplementing campaign manager with PAC endorsement. Finance Director will report to Campaign Manager. Must be in or willing to relocate to New York City beginning late January.

Finance Director Responsibilities Include:

• Write & execute finance plan from call time, committees, and events to low dollar fundraising and PACs
• Set quarterly, monthly and weekly finance goals 
• Manage finance staff
• Work with manager to coordinate plan with cash flow and modify as needed
• Staff candidate at finance related events as necessary 
• Manage prospect and donor follow up
• Write all campaign solicitations - both mail and online appeals
• Identify new donor prospects 
• Work with compliance firm to ensure proper, orderly and timely filing of FEC reports 

Finance Director Qualifications Include:

• At least two cycles of campaign work, at least one of which was in finance 
• Willing to work full time and relocate immediately
• Impeccable attention to detail and follow up
• Well organized 
• Working knowledge of NGP 
• Strong written, communication, research and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to work campaign hours

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
