Tim Greimel Campaign for Congress Field Organizer Position Job Overview:

The Tim Greimel Campaign for Congress is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Field Organizers to work on the competitive Michigan 11th Congressional District race located in Southeast Michigan. MI-11 CD is an open seat that has been labeled a toss-up by The Cook Report and Larry J. Sabato’s Crystal Ball.

Field Organizers are responsible for building the volunteer infrastructure of the campaign through recruiting, training and managing volunteers. Field Organizers amplify the campaign message and engage in voter contact through various events, phone banks, canvasses and voter registration drives. They collaborate with activists, community leaders and progressive organizations throughout the district. They are responsible for ensuring that the campaign has the volunteer capacity to mobilize voters throughout the community and meet the demands of GOTV. Field Organizers will work closely with the Deputy Field Director.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Experience in a fast-moving environment

• Ability to meet goals and strict deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Office

• Frequent travel is required

• Commitment to progressive values and electing Democrats
