SUMMARY:

Need to Impeach is looking for a creative writer to join its growing digital team in San Francisco.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write compelling, creative copy for email, web, video scripts, graphics, blogs, landing pages, digital ads, and other content
• Work with other writers, designers, and creatives to tell the story of NTI and craft messages that move supporters to take meaningful actions
• Communicate strategically with NTI’s 5.4 million petition-signers with clear, concise, and relevant communications  
• Find opportunities to elevate the voices of our principals, NTI staff and volunteers, and petition-signers
• Help the digital team stay error-free -- peer-editing and QA’ing written content, and working quickly to turn around time-sensitive communications products

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years professional experience writing for digital channels, campaigns, or teams
• Must love Oxford comma, the power of the written word, and editorial process
• Can write for distinct voices and audiences
• Works well independently and with others; can take edits and incorporate feedback, applying notes to future drafts to constantly improve
• Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal a plus
• A passion for impeaching the most dangerous president in recent memory
