Jordan Grossman for Ward 2 Paid Internship

Position Description: The Jordan Grossman for DC Council Ward 2 campaign is hiring interns for the spring. Interns will work largely on the campaign’s organizing program, including but not necessarily limited to canvassing, organizing events, phonebanking, research, collecting petition signatures, data entry and analysis, and more. Interns may also be tasked with additional special projects. Interns will learn about the inner workings of a political campaign, have frequent access to senior campaign officials,  and will gain valuable skills that will enable them to participate in political campaigns in DC and around the country.

Ward 2 consists of most of downtown DC, including Georgetown and George Washington Universities and the neighborhoods of Burleith, Georgetown, West End, Foggy Bottom, Kalorama, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Shaw (in part), K Street, and Chinatown.

Duration: ASAP-June 16th

Qualifications: No prior experience is necessary. The campaign is looking for reliable interns who are driven, persistent, have excellent communication skills, and are ready and willing to learn.

Hours: 15-20 hours per week.

Pay: $15/hr (Transportation reimbursement may be available as needed)

To apply: Please send your resume and a brief description (a paragraph is sufficient!) of your interest to al...@jordanforward2.com by February 15th
