Democratic Political Consulting Firm seeking Finance Staff for several high profile clients and initiative races

Location:         Seattle, WA with some in-state travel required
Salary:             $3000-$4000/month: Commensurate with experience (includes healthcare stipend)

We are looking for a fundraising staffer to join our team.  This position will begin ASAP.  You must be consider yourself a Democrat/Progressive and have a passion to work in Washington state politics.          

Newman Partners is a top level consulting firm, focused on fundraising and strategy for progressive political campaigns in Washington state.  We work with high profile federal & state wide races, as well as a number of progressive initiatives.  We are currently seeking to hire an exceptional individual to work on our fundraising team.

Skills and Experience: Applicant MUST meet all of the following requirements:

1. Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree
2. Prior political experience or internships.  Finance experience is strongly preferred
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Publisher and vote builder/VAN
4. Proven ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
5. Must be detail oriented
6. Willingness to work long hours when necessary

1.      Database Management, NGP/VAN and research skills

2.      Event Development, coordination and execution

3.      Strong interpersonal skills

4.      Previous fundraising or organizing experience
