Northern Virginia Democratic Candidate in Competitive Delegate Race Seeks Organizers.

As we gear up for an exciting fall, a top tier Northern Virginia Delegate race is looking for Full Time Field Organizers for the 2015 election cycle. Field Organizers will have the opportunity to help Democrats flip a seat in the Virginia General Assembly. To achieve this FOs will work to grow and maintain our grassroots movement

 

 Qualifications:

• Previous organizing experience a plus

• Desire to learn and a willingness to receive feedback

• Self-motivated and willing to work long hours (including nights and weekends)

• Goal oriented

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously

• Strong commitment to the overall goals of the Democratic Party

 

Responsibilities:

• Implement targeted field plan in assigned turf

• Assume ultimate responsibility for meeting voter registration and voter contact goals in assigned areas

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to establish multiple teams in assigned areas

• Plan and implement voter registration events with volunteers

Great first job for graduating college student or politico who is looking to get a leg up for 2016.
