COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST 

Our Oregon, an organization dedicated to fighting for economic and social fairness for all Oregonians, is seeking a qualified communications specialist with experience in graphic design and social media strategy. The communications specialist will work closely with the communications director to drive a dynamic content calendar across multiple campaigns. 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable creating a range of images and content on a tight timeline and work well with a team. Applicants should be willing to work long hours and do some travel. Specific responsibilities of the communications specialist include, but are not limited to, the list below:

• Create images and sharable content for multiple campaigns on a daily basis
• Design printed materials
• Manage social media communities by moderating comments and responding to messages and comments.
  
• Work with the communications director to create and implement content calendar and strategy, with focus on Facebook, Twitter, email, and blog posts
• Occasionally assist with writing of blog posts and emails

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Significant graphic design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite 
• Experience managing social media accounts
  
• Strong work ethic 
  
• Strong writing skills
  
• Ability to work long hours
  
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality 
  
• Good interpersonal skills

Monthly salary ranges between $2700 to $4200 per month and exact salary depends on experience.
