GOTV Canvassing Positions--Progressive Bay Area Candidate

A progressive Peninsula legislative candidate is seeking staff to canvass door to door across the district contacting voters. This is an entry level campaign position and requires no prior experience. The job goes until the primary election, March 3rd, with the opportunity to stay on if we advance. This job is flexible in terms of days and hours, we just ask that you keep your commitments and work when scheduled. . 

Requirements

• Absolute confidentiality with regard to all aspects of the campaign

• The ability to comprehend messaging for and articulate issues related to the campaign

• Regular communication of progress and submission of daily reports

• Adherence to schedule and punctuality 

• The ability to communicate at all times while working 

• The ability to remain on feet and walk for extended periods of time

• The ability to perform all other aspects of the work successfully 

• Must have a smartphone, as we canvass entirely with an app

• A car is probably needed, but not strictly required.
