- Contribute to research on candidates and materials used for communications;
- Track financial filings, legislative calendars, and campaign events;
- Record and archive opponents’ activities and statements across media platforms with an eye to defining their record;
- Fact checking and copy-editing campaign materials; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- A reliable vehicle, car insurance, and valid driver’s license
- Excellent research and writing skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to write, edit and fact-check with precision during fast-paced periods;
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively;
- Possess a broad knowledge of camera equipment and the ability to record and upload video;
- Must be willing to work long, irregular hours in a fast paced environment;
- Possess a strong political instinct and knowledge of current political events;
- Must remain calm under pressure.
- Previous campaign or policy experience a definite plus but not required.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
