Experience Capitol Hill with a Paid Political Fundraising Internship

Founded in February 2006, J Pope Consulting, LLC is a boutique national fundraising and political consulting firm that provides its clients with the expert advice needed to exceed their fundraising goals. We are looking for interns who enjoy working with Progressive political leaders and organizations.
 
J Pope Consulting, LLC clients include a wide range of political leaders and organizations. We work with Members of Congress to local Council Members. The internship will allow you to meet all types of people and help you obtain a better understanding of fundraising and the political process.

Finance Internship   
              
Responsibilities include, but not limited to assisting with office administration, event planning, scheduling, and program execution (call time, donor research and staffing). Interns will possess a professional demeanor, the ability to multi-task, and have a high level of efficiency. Hours are flexible, but interns should be able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week. The internship will begin in September 2015 and end on December 31, 2015. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must have basic computer and word processing skills (Windows, MS Office, including Word, Powerpoint and Excel). Interns will work directly with principal and associates. Prior Hill, campaign or political experience is preferred, but not required.
