Finance Director for highly competitive congressional race in Michigan

High profile congressional campaign in Michigan's competitive 6th Congressional District is looking for finance director for the upcoming Democratic primary and general election. The core of our campaign strategy is to have the strongest campaign team, so we are seeking a highly energized individual to come on as our finance director!

 

According to the Cook Political Report, the Michigan 6^th is considered a “+4 R”, which makes this a competitive race, and gives Democrats the ability to pick up the seat in 2018!

The ideal candidate for the finance director position will have:

-          At least two cycles of experience in campaign finance, ideally as finance director.

-          Experience in creating a robust campaign finance plan, which includes call time and fundraising event management.

-          History of creating finance plans to attract both high- and low-dollar contributors, especially using social media, email, and other 21^st Century methods.

-          History of creating new donor networks, as well as build on existing donors from previous campaigns. 

        Strong speaking and writing skills.

-          Experience with NGP and other campaign- and finance- related software.

-          Experience with Michigan politics a plus

df     Experience with dealing with compliance matters is also a plus.
