Dover NJ Democrats - Campaign Coordinator

Summary

The Dover NJ Democratic Committee is looking for an experienced field operative to manage a grassroots municipal effort with 1 candidate for Mayor and 5 ward Alderman candidates. The campaign manager must be experienced, organized and bilingual. 

ONLY CANDIDATES SUFFICIENTLY FLUENT IN SPANISH WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Responsibilities

• Communications
• Work with the Dover Democratic Committee and Morris County Democratic Committee to craft field, digital and mail messaging
  
• Field & Voter Contact
  
• Complete multiple passes of the target universe
• Coordinate text banking and lawn sign distribution
• Make sure that candidates canvass consistently and with volunteers
• Hire, train and manage paid canvassers and volunteers
• Manage GOTV efforts
• Administration
• Manage candidates’ calendars
• Ensure that all campaign deadlines are met
• Negotiate contracts with all vendors, consultants, and staff, including field, fundraising and media
  
• Build and manage relationships with volunteers and existing organizations
• Coordinate all activities with the Morris County Democratic Committee and Dover Democratic Committee

Skills & Qualifications

• MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH
• Experience with political organizing and/or campaign management experience

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Pay is commensurate with experience.
