Top Tier Northern Virginia House of Delegates Race Seeks Field Director to manage field aspect of data-driven, field-centered, people-powered campaign.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

• Recruit and manage field staff (which will likely include 2 organizers and 2 Deputy Field Organizers), interns, and volunteers
• Manage a field budget and allocate resources for the field program in collaboration with the Campaign Manager.
• Development of internship program
• Create a comprehensive field plan with specific metrics and goals for program and for self
• Work with local stakeholders and activists
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reporting structure
• Taking charge of all VAN-related matters.

 

Qualified candidates should have:

 

• At least two cycles of experience as a top Field Organizer or Deputy Regional Field Director or at least one cycle as a Regional Field Director.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Experience working in a high-pressure environment and meeting deadlines
• Ability to train and lead a team of organizers, interns, and volunteers
• Poses a sense of humor
• Humility and an ability to work with individuals from all backgrounds are a must.
