The Annual Giving Coordinator works to expand our current fundraising efforts with major donors. The Annual Giving program focuses on donors who can give between $1,000 and $10,000 a year. This position will play a vital role in achieving our goal of growing the number of donors in this program. This will be achieved by both cultivation and solicitation of current and prospective donors as well as organizing and executing an ambitious in-house telemarketing outreach plan.
Responsibilities:
• Perform outbound fundraising calls to manage a portfolio of potential Annual Giving donors with a focus on securing new donors at $1,000-$10,000 level this calendar year.
• Sustain stewardship of all mid-level donors including acknowledgment of contributions and cultivation outreach.
• Identify ways to highlight the organization’s racial justice commitment to donors.
• Work closely with the Senior Director of Annual Giving to create and manage a phone banking system for LCV staff to call and solicit potential donors.
• Assist in the production of all Annual Giving materials and communications, including direct mail, emails, and cultivation materials.
• Accurately and efficiently record donor information in the LCV database, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:
• Work experience: 2-4 years’ experience working in a non-profit fundraising or campaign fundraising setting, database experience required; campaign or customer service field desirable.
• Skills: Highly attentive to details, and adept at developing and maintaining systems. Experience soliciting donors both in person and through mail and email appeals. Call time experience preferred. Good oral and written communications skills. Experience working in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel helpful.
• Capabilities: Extremely well-organized; critical thinking skills; a sense of teamwork and community; great with people; ability to handle multiple tasks and work for several people; commitment to environmental protection and mission of LCV; sense of humor.

Conditions: This job will be based in the national office in Washington D.C. but will require occasional travel. Able to work overtime on occasion.
