Organization:

Red to Blue CA is an organization and Political Action Committee committed to defeating seven Republican members of Congress in California and electing a crop of local Democrats to build a bench of future progressive champions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Political Director will serve as the chief liaison to our endorsed campaigns. The position will support local candidates for office, as well as meeting and recruiting potential candidates for office.

 

The Political Director will work to ensure endorsed local races have a top-notch fundraising and finance operation in place and work to train candidates and campaigns in best fundraising practices.

 

Collect and report weekly data on each targeted local race.

 

Serve as a resource to troubleshoot problems with campaigns and put them on path to victory.

 

Political Director may work to place staff or consultants on races.

 

Other duties as needed.

 

Requirements:

Commitment to the Election of Democrats in California.

 

Minimum of 4-5 years campaign experience. Preferred experience as a campaign manager or finance director on a federal race.

 

Pro-active self-starters only – must be able to work independently and deliver results without day-to-day management.

 

Organized with strong attention to detail.

 

Must have transportation as position will require frequent travel throughout California.
