Unicorn Strategies is hiring an ambitious, energetic, and organized Business Development Manager to help lead and sustain the organization’s growth. This is a new position with enormous potential, and responsibilities will be shaped to the right candidate.
Job Type: Contract with potential for permanent role
Compensation: Commission-based with opportunity for salary
General Job Description
The Business Development Manager will build a growth strategy in consultation with the Managing Partners. Additional responsibilities include:
-Conduct research and identify new clients and partners
-Represent Unicorn Strategies at relevant events in the Washington, D.C area
-Regular tracking of legislative and political activities as they apply to focus areas
Ideal Candidate
-Experience in government relations, government contracting, or fundraising required
-Self-directed, self-starter with a genuine interest in foreign policy and national security
-Familiarity with US military services
-Experience with public-private partnerships
-Strong writing and interpersonal skills a must
-Four year degree required, master's degree preferred
